We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
You will be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment where you can make a significant impact on the construction industry.
This role involves managing complex construction projects, overseeing the design and implementation of wastewater systems, and ensuring the successful completion of high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
The Permanent Project Engineer will be responsible for:
1.
Managing and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
2.
Designing and implementing wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
3.
Developing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4.
Identifying and managing project risks, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
5.
Preparation of engineering reports for municipal decentralized wastewater management projects and design of innovative wastewater and stormwater systems.
Familiarity with state of the art decentralized wastewater and stormwater management technologies desired
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Project Engineer role will have:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 5
years of experience in construction, civil engineering, or architecture project management.
3.
A minimum of 3
years of experience as a Project Engineer, with a focus on wastewater systems.
4.
Proven experience as an Engineering Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing complex construction projects.
5.
Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
6.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
7.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
8.
A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
