We are Hounds In the Hub, an independently owned dog walking/ pet sitting company in South Boston and Dorchester focused on creating personal relationships with our customers (the dogs) and exceeding the expectations of their owners (our clients).
We offer dog walking services including walks, overnights and play sessions, and take great pride in our best-in-class customer service.
We give the best care possible, and always provide an interactive, personal experience for owners.
The ideal candidate must have experience with dogs, whether that be by owning their own dog or previously being a dog walker.
They also must be enthusiastic, hard working, and punctual.
The ideal candidate would also be comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments.
About the available positions within our company:
We are looking to fill two full time walker positions immediately.
The hours for this role are roughly 9am-5pm Monday through Friday with the opportunity to work on the weekends as well if wanted.
For this position, having a reliable vehicle that you don't mind having dogs in as well as a minimum commitment of working for us for two months is required.
Attention to detail is a must (making sure clients' homes are locked up correctly, reading all client notes about their pup thoroughly, etc).
Most full time employees make at least $220 a day.
The second position we are looking to fill would be a designated weekend walker.
We are looking to have a person who would be on call for weekend walks and dog sitting.
The weekend rates are higher on Saturday and Sunday, so it is a great opportunity to make some extra money!
