Job Description:
NEW SALARY RATES!Provides professional psychiatric social work services to acute and chronically ill patients that require mental health and addiction treatment services in an ambulatory setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Comply with NASW code of Ethics and Standards.
Provides sound clinical interventions (individual, couple, family and group therapies) as indicated.
Conducts thorough assessments.
Provides appropriate clinical interventions.
-Involves patients and families in the treatment process as indicated.
Provides comprehensive documentation of interventions.
Communicates pertinent Clinical data to other providers as indicated.
Devises and implements treatment plans which include interventions to meet the psychosocial needs of the patient/family.
Minimum
Qualifications:
MSW, LICSWEducation:
Graduate of an accredited Masters of Social Work.
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Currently licensed as an LICSW by the Massachusetts Board of Licensure for Social WorkSkills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Skilled in the areas of psychiatric assessment, treatment and coordination of care.
Able to provide a variety of treatment modalities; including individual, couples, group and family therapy.
Utilizes a theoretical base of knowledge to assess, diagnose, formulate interventions and evaluate clinical outcomes.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in an inpatient or ambulatory psychiatric and/or addiction treatment setting.
