00) As a closing teacher, you will assist in managing the ongoing programming in the assigned classroom(s) professionally and confidentially and in a way that incorporates the developmental/culturally sensitive philosophy of the Center to ensure the highest quality of care, as well as compliance with NAEYC standards, Department of Early Education and Care requirements, QRIS, and health and safety regulations Program Quality Provides high-quality programming and care.
Maintains constant supervision of classroom children at all times.
Responsible for the health, welfare, and safety of the children.
Interacts with the children and encourages their involvement in classroom experiences.
Provides and maintains a safe, caring, and welcoming classroom that is kept orderly, clean, and appealing.
Works in conjunction with the lead teacher to ensure adequate classroom supplies, equipment, and resources are available.
Assists the lead teacher achieve the goals of the classroom.
Compliant to all licensing regulations Compliant with all Ethos Learning Staff Manual and Employee Handbook requirements including dress code.
Additional Requirements, Training and Certifications Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and drug screening.
Has working knowledge of state licensing and accreditation systems.
